Managing Delivery for Direct Offers
Who is this for: Partners who manage their own Direct Offers and want control over how those offers deliver, without requesting changes from the MomentScience team.
Outcome: Set Caps, Schedule, and Pacing for a Direct Offer, scoped per account, directly from the Dashboard.
Overview
The Delivery page gives you self-service control over how your Direct Offers deliver. Configure click and impression caps, a delivery schedule, and a pacing strategy for each account your offer runs on, without contacting your account manager.
Delivery settings are managed per account. If your offer runs across multiple accounts, each account keeps its own Caps, Schedule, and Pacing configuration.
Getting Started
Opening the Delivery Page
- From the sidebar, click Offers, then select Direct Offers.
- On the offer row, click the โฎ menu.
- Select Manage > Delivery, listed below Creatives.
Delivery is visible to all user roles, including Analysts. Analysts can view every section but cannot make changes.
Choosing an Account
The account selector at the top of the Delivery page lists the accounts you have access to for this offer.
- Admin-role users see every account under the Partner.
- Manager and Analyst-role users see only the accounts they are permitted to view.
Selecting an account loads that account's Caps, Schedule, and Pacing settings and updates the page URL to include the account ID. Sharing or bookmarking a Delivery URL with an account ID pre-selects that account and loads its settings directly.
Admin and Manager roles can make changes. Analysts have view-only access, so Save buttons and input fields are disabled for them.
Caps
Cap how much an offer delivers by setting click and impression limits across Day, Week, Month, and Year windows, per account. Use Caps to protect budget or throttle volume once an offer has reached its target, all without waiting on a manual change.
Setting Caps
- Open the Caps table for the selected account.
- Enter a limit for Clicks and/or Impressions in any of the Day, Week, Month, or Year columns.
- Click Save to commit your changes. A confirmation message appears on success.
๏ปฟ | Day | Week | Month | Year |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Clicks | Limit | Limit | Limit | Limit |
Impressions | Limit | Limit | Limit | Limit |
Editing or Clearing Caps
- Update any existing limit by entering a new value in its field.
- To remove a cap for a given combination, leave that field blank.
- Click Save Caps to commit your changes.
Values must be positive numbers; invalid entries show an inline validation error and are not saved.
Schedule
Control exactly when an offer is eligible to deliver, per account. Schedules run on CST (Central Standard Time), shown as a label on the page and cannot be changed. By default, offers run 24/7, delivering at all times until you save a custom schedule. Use Schedule to restrict delivery to specific days and hours instead, useful for aligning with peak traffic, avoiding off-hours spend, or matching a promotion window.
Building a Custom Schedule
- Click + Add Rule to switch the Schedule mode to Custom schedule and add a rule.
- For each rule, set the Days: All Days, Weekdays, Weekends, or an individual day (Monday to Sunday).
- Set the Start Time and End Time in 30-minute intervals, from 12:00 AM to 11:30 PM, in 12-hour AM/PM format. Use 11:59 PM to mark the end of a day.
- Click + Add Rule again to add additional rules as needed.
- Click Save Schedule to commit your changes.
Editing or Removing a Rule
- To change a rule, update its Days, Start Time, or End Time fields.
- To remove a rule, click the ร button on that rule. At least one rule must remain to save a custom schedule.
- Click Save to commit your changes.
Pacing
Control the speed of delivery within an offer's schedule and cap limits, per account. Use Pacing to burn through volume as quickly as possible when timing matters, or spread it evenly across the schedule to maintain a steady, predictable delivery rate.
Choosing a Pacing Strategy
- Select a pacing mode:
- ASAP: deliver as fast as possible within schedule and cap limits.
- Even: spread delivery evenly across the active schedule. Delivery stops once caps are reached.
- Select a pacing metric: Clicks or Impressions.
- Click Save to commit your changes.
Changing Pacing Later
To change pacing, select a different mode or metric and click Save again. The new settings take effect immediately.
