This playbook outlines the complete process of creating a new offer using the MomentScience dashboard and integrating those offers into EmailPerks. It walks you through every step, from setting up the offer to embedding it into email templates, ensuring you can effectively deliver personalized ads within your email campaigns.

Integration Steps

Step 1: Creating a New Offer

In this step, you will log into the MomentScience Dashboard and create a new offer. You will provide essential details like the offer title and description, and once saved, you’ll obtain the unique Offer ID required for later integration.

  1. Log in to the MomentScience Dashboard
    • Access your account and navigate to the Offers section from the main menu.
  2. Create a New Offer
    • Click on the Create Offer button to begin setting up your offer.
  3. Fill in the Offer Details
    • Provide the required information such as the offer title, description, and relevant branding assets (logo, creative images).
  4. Save Your Offer
    • Once all the details are filled out, click the Save button to store your offer in the system. Your offer is now ready for further configuration.
  5. Write Down the Offer ID
    • Note the Offer ID displayed next to the name of your newly created offer. This ID will be essential for integrating the offer into EmailPerks tags.

Step 2: Adding Creatives to Your Offer

In this step, you will upload a creative offer image that visually represents your offer. You’ll ensure that the image meets the specified dimensions and maintain the correct aspect ratio for optimal display in your campaigns.

  1. Upload a Creative Offer Image
    • After saving your offer, you will be prompted to upload a creative Offer Image (banner image). Click on the Upload Creative button to begin.
  2. Select a Predefined Option
    • Ensure that the uploaded Offer Image adheres to one of our specified dimensions listed below. Once you've selected the appropriate option, click on Upload
  3. Maintain Aspect Ratio
    • If you change the container size, ensure that the aspect ratio is maintained. For example, if the container width is 300px, the corresponding heights should be 230px, 150px, or 75px.

Step 3: Using the Offer in EmailPerks Tags

In this step, you will create the EmailPerks tag to target the offer you created, ensuring it is displayed in the email. You will integrate the offer into your email campaigns using the unique Offer ID, which will enable personalized ads to be sent to recipients.

To display a specific offer using an EmailPerks tag, include oid:{OFFER_ID} as one of the targeting tags, replacing {OFFER_ID} with the unique Offer ID found in the MomentScience dashboard. This code snippet should be inserted into the email template in your ESP, replacing the values with your unique values.
