# Installation Steps

## Step 1: Install the App

To begin using [MomentPerks](https://apps.shopify.com/adspostx-shopping-offers), install the app from the [Shopify App Store](https://apps.shopify.com/adspostx-shopping-offers) and connect it to your store.

1. Go to the [MomentPerks listing on the Shopify App Store.](https://apps.shopify.com/adspostx-shopping-offers)
2. Click Install and follow the prompts provided by Shopify.
3. After installation, you'll be redirected to the [MomentScience dashboard.](https://app.momentscience.com/)
4. Review and agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy by checking the box and clicking Submit.

Once submitted, the MomentPerks app will be connected to your Shopify store and ready to be added to your Thank You page and Order Status page.

## Step 2: Add MomentPerks&#x20;

To display post-purchase offers, you can add the MomentPerks app block to your Shopify store’s Thank You page, Order Status page, or both using the Shopify theme editor.

**Follow these steps:**

1. In your **Shopify admin**, go to the left-hand menu and click **Online Store** under **Sales Channels**.
2. Click the **Themes** tab if it’s not already selected.
3. Click the **Customize** button near the top-right corner to open the theme editor.
4. At the top of the editor, open the page selector dropdown (e.g., “Home page”).
5. From the list, select **Checkout and customer accounts**.
6. You’ll be redirected to the post-purchase editor.
7. At the top of the screen, open the Checkout dropdown and choose one of the following:
   1. **Thank you:** displays the offer after checkout.
   2. **Order status:** displays the offer when customers return to view their order.
8. In the left sidebar, click the **Apps** icon.
9. Locate **moment-perks** under the list of available apps and click the ➕ (**Add**) icon.
10. In the popup, confirm which page (Thank you or Order status) you want to add MomentPerks to.
11. The MomentPerks offer unit will now appear on the choosen page.
12. To reposition the offer unit, use the up/down arrows to place it where you’d like it to appear.
13. To add additional offer units, click the ➕ (Add) icon again and repeat the placement process.
14. When you're done, click **Save** in the top-right corner to publish your changes.

## Test Your Integration

After adding MomentPerks to your post-purchase pages, it's important to verify that your setup is working correctly.

**Follow these steps to test your setup:**

1. Open your Shopify store.
2. Place a test order using a product from your catalog.
3. Complete the checkout process by clicking Complete order.
4. After checkout, you’ll be redirected to the Thank You page.
   - You should see the MomentPerks offer block(s) in the position(s) you configured.
5. Open the Order Status page
   - You can access it by clicking the order tracking link in your confirmation email, or directly from your Shopify store's order history.
   - If you added MomentPerks to this page, you should see the offer block(s) displayed here as well.

If the offer units appear as expected, your integration is complete!
