Overview

Perkswall Direct Offers allow businesses to target and promote specific offers directly within the Perkswall experience, seamlessly integrating them into your website, app, or email campaigns. Offers that are marked as Perkswall Enabled are eligible to be promoted as Direct Offers within the Perkswall.

When users engage with a Perkswall Direct Offer, they are presented with a Perkswall overlay that displays detailed information about the offer. From there, users can either dive deeper into the offer by clicking the call-to-action button or continue exploring other available offers within the Perkswall experience.

Steps

Fetching Perkswall Tracking Link for Direct Offers

To run a Perkswall Direct Offer, you need to obtain the Perkswall Tracking Link for the specific offer. Here’s how you can retrieve it:

Navigate to the Dashboard: In the side menu, go to Offers.

Select the Desired Offer: Locate the offer you want to use.

Access the Perkswall Tracking Link: Click on the three-dot menu next to the offer and select Perkswall Tracking Link.

Add Payload Information (Recommended)

To further enhance tracking, you can add extra payload information to your Perkswall Direct Offer’s tracking link. This additional information will be passed to the Postback URL if one is configured. This allows for more granular tracking and targeting.

LoyaltyBoost Offers

LoyaltyBoost Offers are a specialized type of Perkswall Direct Offer that rewards users for engaging with them. Similar to standard Perkswall Direct Offers, LoyaltyBoost Offers provide rewards, but they require a user-identifying attribute (such as a user_id) to be passed in the payload. This ensures that the reward is given to the right user upon conversion.

In the following example, the user_idparameter identifies the user who will receive the reward after completing the desired action (e.g., engaging with the offer).

Postback URL

Upon successful conversion, the Postback URL will receive the user_idas a GET "macro" and it will also be included in the POST data. This allows the system to track user engagement and award the appropriate reward.
